Julie Jacobs

Embodied Wellness & Coaching

Let me introduce myself. I’m Julie. I’m a mother, a wife, a nurse, a yoga instructor, a reflexology therapist and an embodiment coach. I have spent the last 20yrs learning about the incredible capacity of the body, mind and spirit.

In a world that bombards us with unrealistic ideals for how we should look, act and think, it is not surprising that we can find ourselves feeling lost in our own lives. Over time we often learn to over-ride our intuition which pulls us further from our center and away from our own unique gifts and healing potential.

I have spent most of my nursing career witnessing the devastating impacts of living life in search of something outside of ourselves. Heck, I spent the first 40yrs of my life doing the exact same thing. A number of years ago I was introduced to the concept of embodiment as a means of returning to my innate wisdom. I have been on a journey ever since to deepen my understanding of embodiment practices to be able to support others in their healing journey.

Welcome!

What is Embodiment?

Embodiment practices, also known as Somatic or Mind Body practices, are ways to support you in reconnecting with your own inherent wisdom and healing potential.

My practice is a culmination of my holistic certifications, trauma informed practices, my own lived experience healing through emotional, spiritual and physical pain, as well as my extensive experience and understanding of western models of care. I offer intuitive, practical and scientifically supported tools to guide your journey. Somatic wellness practices and coaching can be valuable complements to other healing modalities.
